Those of you who know my literary influences know that I count John Updike as one of them. He'll be sadly missed. Of all the obituaries I've read from a multiple of sources, I'll share this one with you. I'm awaiting word whether or not I'm having my own quasi-obituary published in the Eagle-Tribune. If not, it'll be posted here; If so, you'll have to wait until Sunday.

John Updike 1932-2009
