I'm going to a wedding at this place??? I need thoughts on the absurdity of this. "Commonly referred to as 'shots'"???? Don't we still live in America?

The sale and service of alcoholic beverages is regulated by the Arizona State Liquor Department. Talking Stick Golf Club is responsible for administration of those regulations. No alcoholic beverages may be brought into Talking Stick Golf Club or removed after an event. In the best interest of Talking Stick Golf Club and its guests, alcohol will not be provided to any individual exhibiting symptoms of intoxication and bar service will be limited to a maximum of five hours. In addition, club policy prohibits the serving of certain alcoholic beverages commonly referred to as "shots", for your protection and the protection of Talking Stick Golf Club.
