Good to be back in the swing of things after a long weekend. Got a few good reads for you since all the Boston teams are pretty terrible. Thank God the Bruins and the Celtics are starting.

• I had this debate before, but since it's NBA season, it should be brought up again. If the European League offers big bucks to someone like LeBron, Kobe, Carmelo, would they go? My friends say for $50 million, why not? My contention is that this would discredit anyone who plays basketball because they "love it." If they love it, they'd stay in the NBA and spurn the big bucks to play in the best league in the world, no?
• Remember in the picks last week when I suggested the NFL is down this year because of the no-Tom Brady factor? Well, Don Banks stole my reasoning except he used a lot more words to do so. If you're going to visit our site, Don, please give me credit. Or leave a comment.
• Lastly, make sure to check out the new Kenny Chesney CD, Lucky Old Sun. It's pretty much awesome. And way better than last year's well-titled, but terrible Poets & Pirates.
